Description
In 1998 Rodaan Al Galidi fled Iraq to escape military service. He sought asylum in the Netherlands where a long and difficult process started. Thankfully he met Jacob, who became his new best friend and who gave him a job at a ferry.
To learn the Dutch language Al Galidi started to write. Nowadays he's a published author and mainly known for his poems.
